We are hiring on behalf of our client, a leading provider of merchant services, seeking a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team in Downers Grove, IL. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting existing customers—communicating fluently in both English and Spanish—and addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues related to merchant service products. This is a non-sales position focused entirely on providing top-tier customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, in both English and Spanish.

  • Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to POS products and services.

  • Document customer interactions and follow up to ensure resolution and satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve complex customer concerns.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s products and services to provide accurate support.

  • Communicate effectively with a diverse customer base, ensuring clear and accurate assistance in both languages.

  • Handle customer complaints with empathy and ensure efficient resolution.

  • Maintain customer records and update account information as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service are a plus.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role preferred.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficient in using customer service software, databases, and tools.

  • Friendly and professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
